The I-Lean book case takes it’s properties form the books it stores.
It leans against the wall in the same way the books themselves lean against each other in a traditional bookcase.
The holes in the bookcase integrate the book covers in the design and make every I-Lean unique.
The number of books stored in the book shelf is a sad reminder that people read less today, or a happy reminder that less trees are being cut down for paper.
